Frequently asked questions
Trailer Covers

We specialise in custom made trailer covers to suit car transporters, plant trailers and recovery trucks. Whether you need to transport a single seat racing car or large van, a veteran car or mini digger, we can design and construct a frame and cover to suit. We have supplied over 250 covered trailers to most sectors of the automotive and contraction industry.
Whatever your requirement we will come up with a solution.

Our trailer covers are designed to prevent 'flapping' when being towed and to reduce drag. The tailored fit of our covers to our own frame construction reduces pooling of water in inclement weather, and strain on the cover, prolonging its life.

Covers can come in a wide variety of colours and can be supplied with vinyl lettering & logos as required (logos are generally applied using vinyl stickering as used by most vehicle sign-writers. We can arrange this whilst the trailer is with us or any local sign-writer should be able to supply and fit).

Why use us?

We specialise in trailer covers, we are not curstainside, awning or marquee company 'dabbling' on the side with trailer covers. We have been making trailer covers for more than 10 years and are motorsport enthusiasts ourselves and therefore, we know what works and what makes a good trailer cover. See our testimonials and gallery for examples of our work.

We also supply our own unique modular trailers, specifically designed to incorporate our GT Cover. We can find out more about them by clicking here.

What's the process?

  1. Have a look at the trailer cover examples on this page and decide if you think this is right solution for you. You can get an estimate of cost by using our transparent pricing by clicking here.
  2. Contact us with your requirements and to discuss any particular needs you have and any options you think would benefit your trailer.
  3. Have a look at the Frequently Asked Questions if there are any aspects of the fabrication you are unsure of, and please don't hesitate to contact us if your question isn't covered or you need further information.
  4. Book in your trailer with us - we generally need the trailer for around 15 working days. November to March is our busiest period and we can get booked up quite early. We ask for a £500 deposit at the time of booking to secure the fabrication slot.
  5. When you drop the trailer, we will confirm all the details, options and colours with you and record these on the job card which will be sent for your approval
  6. Will fabricate the frame and cover and keep you posted on progress and advise in the unlikely event of any delays (high winds and heavy rain can delay fitting of the cover which is done outdoors).
  7. On completion we will send photos of the finished cover and agree your collection date and issue final invoice (less deposit). Full payment by bank transfer is required prior to collection.
  8. You collect your trailer and enjoy rain-free covered transport! Please read the car and maintenance section of our website. If there are any issues, please contact us straight away. We hold stock of all items, including shock cord and fasteners which can deteriorate over time or with heavy use. These are cheap and easy to replace.
